All About Dodge Trucks
The Dodge Brothers manufactured their first trucks in the year 1917. The first users for these
Trucks was the US Army at the time of World War I. The Dodge trucks are strong creations that fulfill ably their purpose. The
Dodge Trucks manufactured by Chrysler Corporation can broadly be classified into the following categories:

Dodge C-series and D-series
The Dodge C-series is Dodge’s line of pick up
Trucks which replaced Dodge’s B-series. The C-series ruled the road from the early 50s and continued through the 1960s. With a completely new design and look, the C-series was a welcome change over the B-series that was used during the war time. The
D-series was what succeeded the C-series and was sold during the year from 1961 to 1980. The D-series is what was later renamed the
Dodge Ram. However, after the year 1994 the Dodge Ram got a completely new look and an identity of its own independent of the Dodge D-series.
Dodge Dakota
The Dodge Dakota is truly big and is the biggest in the mid size pick up Truck Segment. It has stylish interiors and provides for a comfortable ride. It is an absolutely quite vehicle and is a real pleasure to drive. Fitted with a light steering it is easily maneuverable.
Dodge Trucks can take on the tough roads with heavy loads with absolute ease. It comes in two different styles namely the Club Cab and the Quad cab. The Club Cab has a 6.5 feet bed and has an extended cab set up. On the other hand, the Quad cab has a crew cab styling and has four doors. The
Quad cab also comes with a 5’ 4” bed and can accommodate 6 passengers. It has a wheel base of 131.1 inches which is the same for the Club cab.

The Dodge Ram is a pick up truck and was first launched in the year 1994.
Dodge Ram trucks have won the Truck of the Year title as per the Motor Trend Magazine results. The second generation Dodge Ram won the title in the year 1994 and it was later won in the year 2003 by the third generation
Dodge Ram. The Dodge Ram is manufactured at the Warren Truck Assembly (Warren, Michigan), Saltillio Truck Assembly (Saltillio, Coahuila, Mexico) and Saint Louis Assembly North (Fenton, Missouri).
