Information of Ford Truck

Over the years, the Ford Motor Company has produced many models of trucks ranging from dump trucks to box trucks to pick-up trucks to commercial vans and trucks and many more. The Ford Truck line-ups are available in various trim levels and brands including Ford Ranger, E Series, F-Series, Ford Explorer Sport Trac and Super Duty. With comfort styling, refined mechanics, fuel economy and many more user-friendly features, the Ford Truck continues to be a leading competitor when compared to its global rivals like Honda, Chevy, Dodge and others.

The E-Series model ($25,575-$33, 075) offers rear-wheel-drive cargo vehicles. This Truck Model was first introduced in 1960 and then redesigned in 1993 as a full-size cargo van. Presently this brand comes in three types - van, wagon, and pickup. According to a recent news flash, the Ford's E-Series commands a total market share of 49.5 percent while boasting a 62.8 percent share of the cutaway segment. The cutaway designs are refined and launched afresh for the 2008 series.

This Truck Model features E-250, E-350 and E-450 Super Duty and E-350 and E-450 stripped chassis with 138-, 158- and 176-inch wheelbases and three axle ratios (3.73, 4.10, and 4.56) in both single rear wheel and dual rear wheel configurations. Apart from that, there are regular Car Models offering new features like power driver seat, remote keyless entry, leather-wrapped steering wheel, privacy glass, special two-tone exterior paint, forged aluminum wheels, overhead console and running boards.

The standard Ford F-Series offers three engine choices- a 205-hp V-6, 220-hp V-8, and 260-hp V-8 and is available in 2 and 4 wheel drive and manual and automatic transmissions. Apart from the regular F-series line-ups, the F-250 and F-350 are considered to be a totally different class. These super-duty pick-ups Ford Truck are restyled for an even more aggressive look that includes a massive grille and stacked headlight/turn signal assemblies, chassis upgrades an updated rear suspension design that improves ride and handling dynamics, and a bigger, stronger Power Stroke diesel V8 that pumps out an impressive 350 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque.

Three body styles (regular cab, extended cab, crew cab) and four trim levels (base XL, midlevel XLT, off-road-oriented 4WD-only FX4 and plush Lariat) are offered for this Truck. Many options are available to further customize the F-250, including a fancy King Ranch package and a Tow Command system that integrates the control of the trailer brakes with those on the truck. For the recent 2008 Car Models, the F-Series now have the 2 massive closed loop front tow hook design as opposed to conventional open hooks, which may bend out or even break. The F-Series can pull up to 30,000 lb. with just one hook.
